The picture of the burger is from Media Hampton Roads but it looks exactly like the burger I got. I also got a side of onion strings, as opposed to onion rings.
The burger was a 1/3 lb angus beef, which is supposedly fed only vegetables, so no risk of mad cow disease, as far as I’m concerned. You can get the burger up to 1lb patties, which is nice, but it gets pricey. Overall, the burger is quite good. I got it cooked medium, which is the recommended default. It comes with mushroom and topped with onion strings, so you get a great tasting burger. It came with a special sauce which I tried a little bit, but I don’t think that it is completely necessary to enhance the burger’s taste. Since I like the burger was they come out (which means I won’t put additional “stuff’ on it, such as ketchup and so forth), I thought the burger was well made and should be enjoyed as is.
The onion strings are good, and they give you a decent amount, although it’s almost $4. After a while though, the taste sorta gets to you, so it’s wise to share it with someone instead of devouring it yourself. The sauces for dipping is ranch and what seems like buffalo sauce, which works quite nicely with the rings.
So overall, the burger is great and the service was good. However, the bill was almost $16, and with a 20% tip, the meal came out to almost $20. For an occasional meal, it’s very nice, and the environment is very chill to chat with a few friends, but for a frequent lunch, it’ll get to your wallet quickly.
Taste: 8/10
