I am so excited about the taste of Hillcrest. Definitely looking forward to Aladdin, heard so much good stuff about the restaurant but never had a chance to try it. Also looking forward to Amarin Thai Cuisine…one of my favorite thai place in SD.

Money NOT well spent.
I was so excited about this event.
I would think this is a marketing for all the participating restaurants so all the restaurants would prepare something that is representation of what they offer. No. Some of the nice restaurants prepared something very “dinky”. For example, Kimosabe is one of more sophisticated restaurants and what did they serve? Brownie with icecream. I had more expectation from the this award-winning restaurant. Others like a lebanese restaurant Ranoosh served a quarter size ball of falafel. What is that about??? I have much more to say about other restaurants too, but I won’t go into that.
One more thing, alot of the places run out of food! It was only 3 oclock! This event was supporsed to be till 4.
My boyfriend and I eat out alot. Thus at this event, I was expecting to try out all the new restaurant and get feel of them. Well, I was disappointed.
