Hi everyone!

I’ve transformed OSY once again so that it could better suit the needs of its audience.

One of the main improvements in this new version is the mainpage interface. In the previous version, there were occasional lag times during peak hours. This was due to the many review articles and images that needed to be loaded each time. Now, only the three latest articles will be viewed in full while summaries of past articles are displayed.

Another big change is that the sidebar is now two columns. This means that users do not have to scroll down as far to search for relevant information.

Also, you may have noticed the recent map sidebar on the previous version. That was a test run I was doing and is now implemented it in its very own page. Its a map interface with restaurant locations thats powered by google maps. So now you can easily search through our review locations and find out directions on getting there. Besides the moderators and myself, anybody is free to add restaurant location markers on the map. The page link is located on the top menu bar or can be accessed here.
