This restaurant is located in Harrah’s Casino. It’s open 24 hours and offers California cuisine as well as Asian specialties.
The rolls had a sweet, crunchy, sort of caramelized top.
The soup was a tasty blend of eggs, chicken, and corn.
I ordered a spicy chicken dish, which came with rice, veggies, and a few pieces of sushi.

Want to try some upscale small plates? The plates really are SMALL and it doesn’t come cheap. It’ll probably take about 3 small plates per person to satisfy your hunger.
Petrale Sole with Double the Lemon Buerre Blanc and Huckleberries ($14) - Doesn’t look very appetizing does it? I don’t remember what the fish tasted like, but I do remember thinking that the huckleberries added a nice fruity taste that went well with the sole.

Planning a romantic dinner? Like the sound of water? You might want to try River Ranch Lodge. It’s right on Truckee River and if you’re lucky enough, you can sit next to the river.
Pan Fried Crab Cakes ($12.95) - Dungeness crab with smoky aioli and micro greens.
Portobella Mushroom Napolean ($18.95) - Grilled marinated portabellas with mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, sauteed spinach and broiled tomatoes.
Lone Eagle Grille
Submitted by cathytran on Tue, 01/06/2009 - 10:27am.Across from the Hyatt Hotel, Lone Eagle Grille offers a beautiful view of Lake Tahoe. Window seating is limited, so try to call ahead for a reservation and ask for a table by the window. Their cuisine is described as “Northwest and wild game,” but you can still find some items for a less adventurous palate.
Studio Diner
Submitted by cathytran on Sun, 01/04/2009 - 5:25pm.It was just another Sunday at UTC. I had rushed back from LA to hang out with Jodie, Tommy, Tia Mowry, and the guys of Veronica Mars (Jason Dohring, Percy Daggs, and Ryan Hansen). After talking to Ryan (my new BFF!) about the Studio Diner, Jodie suggested that we have lunch there and since I had never been there before, I was all for it! Especially since it’s one of the filming locations used for Veronica Mars and well… you know me. (It’s located right next to Stu Segall Productions.)
Maloney & Porcelli
Submitted by candice on Fri, 01/02/2009 - 2:17pm.I recently returned from a long overdue trip to New York and there just weren’t enough meals in the day to eat everything I had on my list. I did manage to fit in quite a bit though and have lots of photos to share but here’s the best thing I ate that week:
(Crackling Pork Shank)
Hamburgers
Submitted by yujindon on Fri, 01/02/2009 - 1:20pm.Just in case you’re wondering, yes, ‘Hamburgers’ is the name of the restaurant. This tiny joint (literally - the inside probably seats under ten people max) is located on the main street of Sausalito’s touristy area (a little town north of the Golden Gate), and is pretty easy to spot despite its small size, probably due in part to the awesome rotating burger grill they have setup in the front. Although there’s usually no seating inside, when you’re in Sausalito, you’d probably rather sit outside for a great bay view anyways.
