Well, someone wanted a group of us to drive all the way up to Santa Barbara so she could try on a wedding dress and not buy it, so of course, we got hungry and walked down State Street looking for a nice place. We stumbled on Chase. This was months ago during the holiday season, so they had some very festive decor…

Koloa is a very small town and there are limited food options. Pizza sounded good though, so we decided to have dinner here.

Barbeque Chicken Pizza ($18.95 Medium) - Homemade BBQ sauce with fresh papaya and red onions. I was not impressed with the size of this pizza. It was a small. But, it was a tasty pizza. The sauce was a little tangy and the crust was in-between a regular crust and a thin crust.

I took Lynn out to this restaurant for our 18 month anniversary. We had an early reservation and walked into a sparsely populated restaurant, but within 30 minutes, the place was bustling with customers. The atmosphere was very romantic and friendly. The selection of food was exciting because all of the house pasta dishes are the owner’s mother’s personal recipes. We could hardly figure out what to order!

Trattoria La Strada is considered the number one restaurant in San Diego by San Diego Restaurants.com. It has always been in the monthly top 20 as far as I can remember. I placed a reservation for this place because Lynn had been wanting to come here for a while. Whenever I hear her talk about good restaurant places to eat, this had been one of her suggestions.
