Seafood Plaza
Submitted by cathytran on Thu, 10/01/2009 - 9:54am.One of Barona Resort & Casino's newest eateries is Seafood Plaza. It is across from the food court and down the escalators. This area has been remodeled. It used to be a bingo hall. There are two other restaurants: Italian Cucina and the soon-to-be new Barona Oaks Steakhouse. I like this area because it was definitely more quiet than the rest of the casino.
After we ordered, one of the servers brought out a bowl of complimentary Edamame for us to munch on while we were waiting for our meal.
Nobu
Submitted by cathytran on Mon, 07/27/2009 - 7:20pm.As a special Comic Con treat, I went with my sister and a friend to Nobu in downtown San Diego for dinner. It is definitely a hot spot. It was packed with Con go-ers and party people. Don't worry, most of the geeks are gone by now =)
Sushi Man
Submitted by cathytran on Fri, 01/16/2009 - 12:54pm.Finally! I'm done reposting all my old reviews from the original Oh-So Yummy site. So here's a new one...
While I was at Michael's (the craft store), I noticed a sign for Sushi Man, so I decided to try them out. They're in the same shopping area as Pacific Theaters and they also have locations in Hawaii and two more in San Diego: 6348 College Grove Way #104 (next to Sam's Club) and 872 Eastlake Parkway #412 (at the Village Walk).
Sushi Town

I’ve been having the biggest sushi craving for a while, so I asked my friend Phil if he would like to accompany me and at the same time recommend a place where we can get good sushi. He decided to take us to Sushi Town and told me their sushi was pretty good and at a decent price range.
Yoshi Sushi
Submitted by psylocke on Fri, 01/02/2009 - 1:28pm.This was my first trip to Yoshi Sushi although Dennis had been telling me about it for awhile. Apparently, they have a great all you can eat sushi deal. They make the sushi fresh with that deal so it’s much better than going to a sushi buffet. It’s good for sharing but since it was just Dennis and myself (we were later joined by Lynn), we decided to skip the all you can eat deal and just order something off their dinner menu.
