Taste of North Park 2012 will be here before you know it! Last year we went to the event and discovered a few new places to add to our list of good eats. This year we are excited to participate again and have invited plenty of friends to join us.

The Spirits of Mexico Festival, North America’s largest and most prestigious tasting event for agave spirits, is returning to Old Town San Diego for its ninth year Sept. 9 – 16. It will be jam-packed with tasting receptions featuring more than 70 brands and over 200 varietals of rare and expensive tequilas, cocktail challenges, educational seminars led by master distillers, a comprehensive tasting competition and resultant awards ceremony, as well as plenty of authentic Mexican cuisine and entertainment including mariachis, live bands and stilt walkers.

It's time for the second San Diego Restaurant Week of 2012! Over 180 restaurants are participating! Check out your favorite restaurants or try something new! The prix fixe lunches are either $10, $15, or $20 and the prix fixe dinners are either $20, $30, or $40!

San Diego Restaurant Week begins on September 16 and ends September 21! Book early because the restaurant reservations may fill up quickly!

Bring your appetite to the 12TH Annual Taste of Adams Avenue Sunday, June 24. I know we will!

Once again, San Diegans are invited to enjoy a leisurely walk through Gaslamp and fill their tummies at the same time during this year's Taste of Gaslamp!

There are two days to choose from, either Saturday or Sunday and each has over 25 different restaurants and eateries to sample! A few locations are 21 and up and will require id for any alcohol consumption associated with the taste. Each day, the event begins at 1 p.m. and ends at 4 p.m.

Tickets are only $30 per person per day.

Treat yourself to fine dining and drinks as well as supporting a great cause at this year’s Island Divine event with a "Isla Mujeres" theme. The Junior League of San Diego is holding this event on Saturday, May 5, 2012 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the spectacular Ellen Browning Scripps Park located at the La Jolla Cove. Gather up your friends and family to enjoy this fabulous dining experience in beautiful La Jolla.

Hillcrest is one of those neighborhoods that have so much to offer... and here's a perfect way to test-drive one of those perks... the food!

This weekend, come out for Taste of Hillcrest, which will be held Saturday, April 21, 2012 between noon to 4:00 PM.

Ocean for the Future: A Sustainable Seafood Celebration

This week-long event highlights San Diego restaurants that have agreed to feature a sustainable seafood plate or Prix Fixe menu and donate a portion of their profits to support the San Diego Oceans Foundation’s research and marine science education programs. San Diego Restaurant Week offers diners a chance to feast at a great price! For lunch, a 2 course meal is available for either $15, $20, or $25, depending on the restaurant.  For dinner, a 3 course meal is available for $20, $30, or $40!
