Santorini Island Grill

Santorini Island Grill is a Greek restaurant in Scripps Ranch.  They serve fair portions at reasonable prices.

For an appetizer, we ordered Feta Fries ($3.25) - seasoned fries topped with feta crumbles & oregano.  It was great.  I particularly like the feta crumbles.  The Shrimp & Gyros Platter ($8.25) is comes with gyros meat & Santorini's island style shrimp and includes a side of Greek salad, rice pilaf, warm pita bread, and tzatziki sauce.  With the Half Chicken Plate ($8.00), you get oven-baked, lemon/oregano marinated chicken and it also comes with a side of Greek salad, rice pilaf, warm pita bread, and tzatziki sauce.  The chicken is very moist and flavorful.  I enjoyed the rice pilaf and pita bread as well.

The service is a little slow.  You're probably better off ordering the food for pick up if you want to try them out.
