Nobu

As a special Comic Con treat, I went with my sister and a friend to Nobu in downtown San Diego for dinner.  It is definitely a hot spot.  It was packed with Con go-ers and party people.  Don't worry, most of the geeks are gone by now =)

We ordered a few sushi rolls: House Special ($13), Salmon Avocado ($7.50), and Shrimp Tempura ($12).  I only tried the Shrimp Tempura sushi roll.  It was the best Shrimp Tempura sushi roll I have ever had!  Other places have shrimp that taste like they were previously frozen.  One little downer: most other sushi places give you eight pieces, instead of only six.

We also tried the Yellowtail Collar ($19).  It was nice and moist in the middle, but had a crunchy outside.  Yummy!

We had really good service.  Our server was very professional, but this restuarant is a little pricey.  Be sure to dress to impress!

What do you have against geeks? Just because it is a lifestyle choice by them doesn't make it any more acceptable to make fun of them.

I wasn't making fun of them.  I've been going to Comic-Con since the mid-90's.  I'm one of them...
