Friday night is Art Night in Hanapepe. You can browse the galleries from 6 pm to 9 pm. Meet some of the local artists and gallery owners. Some of them offer little treats, such as cookies, crackers, cheese, and wine.

During this time at Hanapepe Cafe, a special (limited) menu is served and it changes every Friday night. The other entrees that we did not order were Southwestern Vegetable Pie ($22) and Paella ($28).

Want to try some upscale small plates? The plates really are SMALL and it doesn’t come cheap. It’ll probably take about 3 small plates per person to satisfy your hunger.

Koloa is a very small town and there are limited food options. Pizza sounded good though, so we decided to have dinner here.

Chef Evans of Roy’s Restaurant demonstrated to the crowd on how to make Japanese Misoyaki Butterfish at the Del Mar fairgrounds. His crew even prepared copies of the recipe for everybody who wants to try it out! Hooray!
